After several years of failed joinings, pregnancies and even births, we finally have a beautiful filly out of Buffy and by Nabinabah Rockafella.  This very welcome bundle of joy came on my late grandmother, Beryl (Bisky) Doolin's, birthday. As Bisky and my grandfather were the founders of this B Family breed with Buffy's grandmother, Black Bess, we have named the filly Bisky.

Newest arrival at Bar Nine Dot Sporting Horses was this lovely filly of Mick Hockey's, out of his top polo thoroughbred mare, Dallas, and by our HAYDON ZANE.

It's a triple filly treat for KIRKBYS STUD CHEERS this season. The third and final of her 2015 foals arrived last night - this little girl is by PALMERS EL CONDO. A very exciting future prospect for any discipline. We’ve named her Barninedot Chandon.

Arrival last night (a little early) was this jet black filly out of KIRKBYS STUD CHEERS by our NABINABAH ROCKAFELLA - the second of three Cheers foals due this season. As this is probably Cheers' last naturally birthed foal, we are super thrilled about the filly....she will most likely be retained and you'll see her on the polo field in a few years! We’ve named her Barninedot Confetti.

First arrival of the foaling season for us....a filly via the embryo transfer from successful working horse challenge/campdraft mare KIRKBYS STUD CHEERS - HSH (Kirkbys Tonic - IM HSH/Warrenbri Omega - IS LH) and open campdraft stallion GILGANNON ONYX - HSH (Gilgannon Seagull - HSH/Lindsay - IS HSH). After the devastating loss of Cheers' 2014 filly born prematurely, we decided to spread our risk and enter her into an ET program. To have this beautiful looking filly arrive safely during the night we are all naturally over the moon!!! We've decided to name her Barninedot Celebration

BARNINEDOT DAKAR (Barninedot Diva (Haydon Daylight)/Nabinabah Rockafella - HSH) won C Grade Champion Pony at Gunnedah Polo Tournament a few weeks ago playing under Andrew Campbell, who hadn't ridden him before. As a novice, Dakar played young horse and low goal games with James and then spent a year or two with George and Felicity Fraser before being purchased to go hunting by Edward Hoddle. He's a typical faithful all-rounder who can go from leisure, to hunting to polo over consecutive weekends!!

1st September 2015

After two years of trying to track down a very special mare, BARNINEDOT DIA (reg pending), who we sold as a two year old to Australian polocrosse player, Andrew Rose, I found her with the awesome young lady, Chelsea Golder, in Darwin, NT!!

Dia is out of our foundation mare HAYDON DAYLIGHT - HSH (HAYDON BLU NIGHT - HSH/HAYDON NEVER DOUBT - TB) who Dad played A Grade polo on during the 1980's and I had years of pony club success on her in between tournaments. Daylight was a beautiful mare (inside and out) who had a few foals with success, but DIA was the only one she had by NABINABAH ROCKAFELLA - HSH before she died......and thankfully a filly. After a very successful career with Andrew Rose, winning various champion awards, she moved to the Northern Territory where Chelsea and Dia went on and made the State team for U21 mixed polocrosse team at Nationals 2012 (Warwick). Dia is now 14 years old and Chelsea has retired from polocrosse, so we have been very fortunate to be able to have her back at Bar Nine Dot Sporting Horses to join our broodmare gang and allow the 'D family' line to continue. We will be joining Dia to HAYDON ZANE - HSH.
